Your original post states that it's sad that a game like this is being offered. What about us responsible citizens who know the difference between video games and reality. I don't have kids living in the house. Why is it sad that I'm being offered this game. Would you like to censor my whole life or just what I do when I'm at home?
The graphics sure are next gen. As far as the gameplay is concerned, is there a next gen? The only one really doing anything new is Nintendo. As for the others, yes, their games are still the same under the surface. But they are still fun and to me that is all that really matters. Do you have better ideas than the current developers? You criticise the lack of innovation but bring nothing new to the table yourself.

As long as it says HDTV or HD ready you're good to go. That's a good price too. I have a Panasonic (same size) that cost me $500 and it looks great in my bedroom. Just stay away from EDTVs. Those are a joke. But this one looks good. I say go for it. HDTV kicks ass as far as gaming is concerned.

As for the Truth, while I don't agree with your opinions, thanks for taking the high road and placing the words "I think" or "I feel" at the beginning of them rather than just staing them as fact. If only all the fans and fanboys (of all consoles) would be so wise and courteous rather than just making declarative statements that they can't back up.
They're comparing megaBITs to megaBYTEs. There is an eightfold difference between the two. As for your numbers, the ps3's looks about right, but you may want to re-check and verify the 360's. The way to tell is megabits are labelled Mb while megabytes are labelled MB.
You do understand that some stories are posted on both the ps3 and 360 portions of this site don't you? And that clicking on either one will bring you to the same place? That said, why don't YOU get out of OUR 360 site? Why not? Cuz they're the same damn site.
The 360 controller is like a mix between a ps2 controller and an Xbox controller S. And it's a really awesome controller. Other than that, the only thing MS copied off of Sony is having fanboys. Should have copied something better.....wait a minute, there IS nothing better from Sony to copy.

Violent people kill people. Should we not sell knives because violent people can use them to kill people? Or axes, baseball bats, crowbars? Banning guns is not the answer. It would be unconstitutional (for us Americans) as would censoring video games just because SOME people think that they're bad for society. Let's not advocate either.
